YES it’s SPRING here at Ski Butternut the snow is melting and the birds are singing. For Saturday we’ll enjoy a partly sunny sky in the morning with more sun in the afternoon. Temps will range from 40 degrees at 8 a.m. to a high of 49 degrees. We’ll be skiing on ALL 22 TRAILS, starting the day with Machine Groomed Corduroy that will give way to SPRING conditions by mid day. SOFT BUMPS await on Downspout! LIFT TICKETS are $25 Ad, $20 Jr. & $15 for young kids. We’ll enjoy LIVE music on the Clubhouse deck by a band named LEAP THE DIP from 1-3p Saturday Then on Sunday Well enjoy A DEEP BLUE SKY & A WARMING SUN that will push the Temperatures toward a high of 57 degrees. Its a PARTY weekend - Well host both our PARROT HEAD Festival and our Easter Egg Hunt both on Sunday. HUNT FOR BURIED TREASURE - Find a specially marked Parrot or Easter EGG and you’ll win a prize. A great way to spend time on the slopes with the kids. They could be anywhere on the mountain BUT most will be close to the trails edge. Check back for occasional tips here on FACEBOOK. In addition we’ll have a “Cheeseburgers in Paradise” BBQ on the deck and Jimmy Buffet and other Beach Tunes will be cascading up the trails closest to the Lower Lodge. Games for young kids from 1-2p. Limbo Contest, Hula Hoop Session & Coconut Bowling... PLEASE DRESS THE PART - Wear your wildest Hawaiian Shirt, your craziest Sun Hat & your biggest-baddest sunglasses - BUT most importantly bring that all important Laid Back Attitude so you can navigate to the right latitude before having to Cruse on Back Home. - If you need help on this important aspect and you are over 21 you are in luck as our food service staff will have that all important Frozen Concoction in the form of Booze in a Blender Watch out for those Pop Tops we dont want any of you to have to limp home.
