YGEs new Band - WINNER has come up with Color Ring MV. One of the best and beautifully shot MVs. Koreans in IMHO is the best when in comes to Music Video production esp. YG Entertainments. Their production standards are very high. I love the creative concepts involved including the overall styling and colour. For example, each scenes of this MV can be converted into photo frames! Nice usage of blur, colour, angle, fashion, light, etc.... a lot to learn from! The Director of the MV, Dee Shin, is a great inspiration for me. I love her sense of styling and creative shots and her creative way of story telling. She has a similar pattern and styling which I dont get tired of. Also her MVs has good usage of symbolism and metaphors and flows well with the lyrics of the song. She has worked with other YGE artists and she has directed my other favourite MVs from YGE such as AKMU- Melted (which I shared here and on my blog earlier for it had a very strong message and used film photography as a base) and my favourite band 2NE1s Come back home MV. Other creative videos if you are interested and wants to learn about light, angle, shade, style, etc and art of story telling through metaphors and symbolism in a frame (very important for Photography)- 2NE1s It Hurts Korean version directed by directed by Kim Hye Jung. 2NE1s Lonely, Korean and Japanese Version (both different MVs) 2Ne1s Ugly (lots of symbolism and very meaningful) 2NE1s Go Away 2NE1s Missing you...
