YOGA AND AFRICA (Found as a comment under the previous which was a news by Ola) Yoga get nothing to do with religion or Hindu. Is very unfortunate that African where rob of many culture for thousands of years, because of different culture from foreign invader. Yoga is part of Nile valley civilization of treatment of different kind of illness and spiritual awaking. Check many pose in the pyramid in Egypt you will find all kind of Yoga post like salutation of Sun, Cobra pose and many more. As regular yoga practitioner and also an Africa. I made a lot of research , how Yoga was brought to India by Kushite people of Nile valley, the establish the Indus Kush in Mohahindojero and Arappa. These Kushite were part of people that left the original Kush in today Sudan and Egypt. The Dravidian own Yoga to Indian and Dravidian are the family of Nubian, Beja, Somali, Oromo and many. You can see many similarities with few ethnic i mention with people of southern India in Kerala. And the Yoga traveled all the way to west and now back to Africa thousands of years later. I listen to many lecture of Dr Velu Alamalaan a Dravidian activist, he said in one of is lecture, that Greek used to called Indian east Ethiopia in ancient time. And he talk about Ethiopian Emperor that rule Indian in ancient time, before the Aryan the light skin Indian migrated from today Iran, Afghanistan and many more. So Yoga is not new to our continent, because it was invented there, but is new to this current generation, because of long hidden history of our great continent.
