YOU DID IT!!!!! Congratulations on an amazing race done by all. So many of you had PBs - quite the feat considering this was a challenging course. For those of you who completed your first 5 k or 1/2 marathon....we hope this event has inspired you to complete your second, third and even fourth! For others who may not have come away with the time they had hoped for.....THIS was a challenging course! Theres always the next race. Just be proud that you completed it. OK, so the question of the day: Official Race Results Results should be posted this evening. Our official Timing Company is Thames Timing so be sure to check their site (this evening) for your results. thamestiming/results/ Again, congratulations to all....we could not have done it without you!!! Special thanks to all of the volunteers and the supporters who came out to cheer people on and kept us all going...special mentions: The Inspirational signs, The Pirate, The Firemen, Pink Sign Guy (identify yourself...your signs were awesome!)....and for me personally, the young lady at the 2nd turn-a-round for the 1/2....she had just the right amount of energy & enthusiasm needed to help us make it to the finish line. ALL of the volunteers were super-fantastic and made this event memorable. THANKS!!!! p.s. Happy Birthday to the little 15 year old who celebrated her birthday by completing her first 1/2 Marathon and managed to come in under her 2 hr. goal. Amazing!
