YOUNG SOCCEROOS 0 vs USA 0 In a very exciting and high quality game the Young Socceroos just couldnt find that elusive goal to take all 3 points against the USA. Still undefeated in the tournament and finishing level on points with the USA we finish runners-up due to having an inferior goal difference by 1. In a game that went end to end we dominated possession for large parts of the match, played most of the football but couldnt get that goal. In fairness the USA had their chances also, particularly on the counter attack and struck the post on a number of occasions. The boys have represented Australia in an outstanding manner both on and off the field and it has been a privilege to have been with them. The US crowds were amazing at the final game and were also generous in their support of the team. Now the pack up begins before heading home to prepare for the next camp in a couple of weeks.
