YOUTH BLUES BAND AUDITIONS The Bay of Plenty Blues Club is now inviting tertiary students in Rotorua to audition for the BOP Blues “Youth Blues Band”. The club is seeking lead, rhythm & bass guitarists, vocalists, drummers and keyboard players. The successful applicants will receive free coaching over the summer of 2013/2014, to get the newly formed band up to speed to perform in public. The target will be for the newly formed youth band to perform at the 2014 Rotorua Blues Festival next Queen’s Birthday weekend in June. Those interested in attending the audition should contact the Club’s Youth Officer, Shay Dender, either by email youth@bopblues or phone 027 677 8265.
