YOUTHS & THE CHURCH Hello friends, today we are looking at how important it is for youths all over the world to take their places in the body of Christ. Before I move on, let me wish you all a Happy New Month and Compliments of the season. In our world today, particularly in my country Nigeria, it is often said the youths are the leaders of tomorrow, but you know what? Tomorrow never comes. If you ask me, the youths are the leaders of today, leaders of now, and just like youths all over the world are taking over their various countries demanding for justice and accountability from their leaders, Abba expects the youths in the Church too all over the world to rise up and do exploits for Him. Now, do not get me wrong. I am not saying we should take over Churches, apparently, youths are not taking over governments but they are getting involved. Youths all over the world are getting involved in the politics and other socio-economic activities of their countries. In the same vein, youths in the Church too are to get involved in the affairs of the Church. How can we do this? One way we can do this is by exhibiting the fruit of the Spirit in every aspects of our lives. Galatians 5: 22-23 says: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. We are to display these in our lives on a consistent basis. Another way we can get ourselves involved in the affairs of our Churches is by making ourselves available to God. You know in Joel 2; 28, Abba says He will pour out His Spirit on all flesh and, Your sons and daughters will prophesy, these are the last days friends, Im sure you are well aware of that and guess what, Hes pouring His Spirit already. Are you available for His touch? You know in Ezekiel 22:30, Abba also said He was looking for someone to stand in the gap for the land but He saw no one. Friends, that shouldnt be the case any more. There are billions of us- Christian Youths out there. Let us rise up and take our places in Christ. Let us make God proud. Let us begin to operate in the various spheres that He has given to us.
