Ya know, Ive been told sometimes I go on rants. I know this. For lack of a better reason, it is simply because I love this country and spent half my life to date defending it. With that in mind, I had a very good discussion tonight with a close friend of mine. We discussed what our government was really trying to accomplish to help our nation. While we didnt agree on every point (thats called democracy), one thing that seemed logical was that our Congress was pretty much a useless bunch of greedy, self serving, worthless employees to this nation. Then, I come home and read that a new poll shows our Congress (both the HoR and Senate combined) have a 17% approval rating. Now, I am not bragging, but I am lucky enough to be working for the the #3 Fortune 500 Company in 2014. I know if our BoD had this kind of approval/success rate, they would have been sent packing long ago. I would like to know how any of these jokers still have jobs with a 17% approval rating. I am just dumbfounded that we keep voting them in. Ladies and gentelmen, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Rant done!
