Yaarumilla from Kaaviyathalaivan is nothing short of a masterpiece... This song will do to Swetha Mohan what Muthal Murai from Sangamam did to her mom, Sujatha Mohan. Only now im seing what Swetha has in her voice. Its no doubt A.R.Rahman is the one that can extract the best from a singer. Never heard her so beautiful in a song as how she sounds in this song. I too initially write her off because of her monotonous style which she tried to aped her moms awesome style always. But after listening to the full song, she wins hands down! The second interlude was extremely blunt, plain and it has no direction. This is probably the only drawback of the song. But it might work wonders on screen to let the visuals give it an image to fit that blank portion of the song. Other than that, the song is magic, just pure magic! Im very sure this is an album to die for people like me who r extremely choosy in music/songs. Finally A.R.Rahman has heard my grudges and shut my mouth real good with the few songs from Kaaviyathalaivan ive heard so far. The album will be appreciated by the critics. :)
