Yall should really keep these I just want to be with someone statuses to yourself. Its not a good look and Ill tell you why. When you say you want to be with someone, what you are really saying is that you want to be with anyone. Now, dont get me wrong. Im not saying ANYONE, but you meet nice people who are at least slightly attractive and you instantly think, ....what if? Then you start acting out of control and ruin the whole deal before it even gets started. Talking about wanting to be with someone is really just talking about being tired of being alone. I dont know about you but....Ive never wanted to be with a specific person because they were tired of being alone. I want to be with someone who wants ME. Me. Coupling up looks easy but it seems super difficult and then people turn around and start making it hard because it feels hard. Its really simple, tbh. Whenever you meet someone you are compatible with, it just happens. You spend a minute together here and there and then the minutes turn into hours and the hours turn into days and before you know it you are married or whatever and have like 3 kids and apparently you are super freaking stoked on your whole life. I dont really know, I havent made it quite that far. But I have made it past the point of wanting to be with someone. When you want to be with someone, you put pressure on EVERYONE and it drives people away. It makes you seem extra, desperate, and a little needy too. So you might think youre just being a nice guy or giving him what he wants but in reality you are showcasing your desire to be with anyone who will have you and it makes you seem uncomfortable with yourself. People are more perceptive than you might think, at least some of them. Be with yourself until there is SOMEONE you want to be with. You cant force chemistry and trying will just make you bitter towards your preferred gender and most likely, yourself.
