Year 8 Basketball vs. Thomas Keble (Away) Lost 34 – 28 The year 8 Basketball team suffered a narrow defeat in their first basketball match of the season. Travelling away to a strong Thomas Keble team, the boys started slowly and conceded too many early baskets, as a result of disorganised defending. The team quickly took a timeout and reorganised themselves. The rejuvenated team soon started to claw their way back into the game, with some strong basketball causing serious problems for the opposition. Sadly, Thomas Keble’s accurate shooting proved too costly and Farmor’s were not quite able to get ahead on the scoreboard before the end of the game. Men of the Match: Ki New (A constant attacking threat) Alex Eaglestone (Dominated the rebounds at both ends and scoring regular baskets throughout the match)
