Year after year, Im terrible at wishing other people happy - TopicsExpress

Year after year, Im terrible at wishing other people happy birthdays, yet you all keep coming back. Im confused by your relentless, always unrewarded wishes, but mostly flattered. Because I feel a simple thank you is not enough, I will analyze each of your posts. Patrick and Rick went with the facts this year. It is my birthday. Nothing gets past you guys. Colleen, you misspelled my name again, but its your birthday today, so Ill let it slide. Brian is visiting soon! Thats awesome! Jordan, your optimism is always appreciated. Anfon seems to find my birthday delicious, and Ryan likes it. I guess thats ok. Ellen wished me happy birthday while sneezing or something. A little unorthodox, but thanks for fighting through it and typing it all out for me. Laurel used musical notes, which I didnt even know were possible in Facebook. Pretty excited about this. Makes me want to sing. ♫♪ Mr Johnson, thank you for reminding me of my dangerous, dangerous past. Reilly, last night i substituted a Philly cheesesteak off a food truck in ny for Taco Bell, but I assure you a grilled stuft burrito is in my future and I will certainly eat it for you. Mr. Yarbrough, your Happy Bearded Birthday is a contender for my favorite. Theres no faster way to my ego than complimenting my beard. Similarly, Mike with the funny bearded man description really nailed it. Congrats to you both. Sara B - WHERES THE GALAXY Marilyn, I uhhhhhhh miss you uuhhhhhhhhhh too. (from me and Dr. Bohmer). Caroline, I can assure you my birthday was herpes free, but I still dont fault you for wishing them on me. Aunt Sara said cheers! I like that. Not a lot of people say cheers anymore. Lets bring it back. Diddy - I love it when you call me Big Papa. Kevin may have unintentionally made a great play on words with happy birf dave. I think you were just shortening birthday for fun, but either way, I was tickled. Some compliments were thrown my way. Jeff, you are, in fact, the man. Susie, my birthday is NOT a joke. Seaton, thank you for always putting out the fire on my pants, and reminding the whole world that my pants literally caught fire one time. Jenn, you just wrote ahhhhhh, so Im not sure you know where or what you are, but text me and Ill help you out. Patty may also be confused, as he called me little guy. This is a new nickname, but well see where it goes. Noah, my son. I appreciate you calling me Dad, further confusing people who think I have a son thats a senior in high school. Roger - IOWA!! Since day one, Ashley has insisted on calling herself my sand lady. It still makes no sense, but at least youre sticking to your guns. Chris, next year I expect an actual kangaroo. Youre Australian. Just call your friends at Outback and make it happen. Josh, Survivor puns plus birthday wishes are the ultimate combo. I award you the Medallion of Power. Maeve, Erika, Dan, Ivan, Dustin, Lissy, Uncle Jon, Nick, Annie, Audrey, Cody, Aunt Laurel, Other David, Lindsie, James, Julie, Sara, Professor Merv, Alex, Alison, Cousin Kacie, Matt, Dylan, Erin, Ali, Syd, Sadie, Vince, Eric, Megan, John, Kyle, Lauren, Becca, Paul, Kendrick, Moose, Alfredo, Ali, Jonathan, Mary, Tim, Hadley, Cara, Capn Scott, Bill, Dylan, Brenna, Michael Duntz, Mateusz, and Phil. -thanks for the generic, but much appreciated standard Happy Birthdays. Theyre simple but to the point. Dan kept is short with HBD, which I really appreciate. A good time saver for both of us. HAGS to you, friend. Stop beating me in Trivia Crack. Bri switched things up with date of birth. I like this for its quirkiness. Some people added something more - their hopes that it will be a good one: Mrs. Tate, Joe, Karl, Pam, Uncle Dave, Fitz, Maritza, Debbie, and Dad - thank you. It was indeed a good one. Finally, my brother-in-law, who has a 2-year-old, wished for golden showers on my golden birthday via text and I just thought everyone should know that. I really do genuinely appreciate the birthday wishes. Ive got some good friends and am very lucky. Mushy.. mush... full house music... bye.
