Years ago I started backpacking around the South Pacific. I became fascinated by an old classic, Mutiny on the Bounty and so I set sail for Tahiti to see what fascinated Fletcher Christian. When I arrived in the campgrounds of French Polynesia I realized how ignorant us Americans are. Here I was, in a string of remote islands far from any continent surrounded by backpackers from the likes of Latvia, France, Brazil, Moldavia and virtually every corner of the world and they ALL spoke at least some English. Americans are so offended when we cant understand ONE single language other than our own, but around the world it is far too common for the rest of the world to be proficient in three or four languages! Proud to be American indeed.....So when I fell in love with this amazing woman from Mexico City and asked her to be my bride, it was an easy choice for me to chose the most amazing place Ive ever seen.... Bora Bora (First Born in Tahitian) to get married in. It really became the place where my life started over, where God gave me a second chance, uniting me with the one who made me who I am today.
