Yellow Magic from Lewis Leathers Heres a custom order Super Sportsman jacket we created for a customer last year, made in the style of Uma Thurmans outfit in Quentin Tarantinos epic tale of revenge, Kill Bill Vol 1 - released in cinemas on this day in 2003. Umas outfit was itself an homage to the legendary Bruce Lee, who wore yellow with black stripe in the incomplete 1973 Hong Kong martial arts film Game of Death which he directed, wrote, produced and starred in before he died tragically the same year. It was, however, completed posthumously, in 1978 using newly shot footage (with Lees doubles wearing disguises) and some clips from Lees earlier films. Topper Headon of the Clash also wore a replica Game of Death suit onstage and in 1980s Rude Boy (film).
