Yes, Facebook friends, we are moving again! I have accepted a promotion with another division of United Technologies with HR responsibility for facilities in WV, CA, and OH. My first week on the job will be spent at my new divisions headquarters in Minneapolis. Coincidentally, my first day of employment is November 17th, five years to the day since my successful gastric bypass surgery. I have to do a shout out to Dr. John Coon and his staff at New Image Bariatric in Riverside, CA for saving my life. I was 350 lbs. prior to the surgery, and I weighed 222 yesterday, only 2 lbs. above my goal weight. We are sad to leave beautiful Fairhope, AL, but looking forward to our move to the Greenbrier Valley of West Virginia. Well be settling near Lewisburg, WV, a vibrant, award winning small town with a Civil War history, lots of amenities, and beautiful mountain views. Donna and I are excited about this new adventure and being closer to our families!
