Yes, Im posting this again! I think I started a holy war with this post! I love the Lord with all of my heart. I am human & make mistakes, but I live for Him! Make no mistake about this my friends. To take offense at a persons beliefs, is a form of judgement. We are NOT supposed to do this. It is easy for me to love God, because I have been blessed enough to have wonderful mentors in my life, who patiently worked with me. Unfortunately, many people have NOT had the benefit of studying with spiritually highly educated people. Ive been studying the bible for years! I still have allot to learn. My daughter, who is highly educated, & was raised by a Christian mother, decided to make her faith her own. She became agnostic, & studied evolution, & creation, in depth. After allot of studying, & soul searching, she made her Christian faith, her own. Having worked with educators for years,(as an advocate for children with learning disabilities,) I had my ears very close to the grapevine. I personally witnessed personal attacks, & threats directed at the school district. The Superintendent of Schools shook in his boots, when he was threatened by atheists. As Christians, we are to love people, but do not have to agree with them. I feel very sad for atheists, because they do not know the love, power, and peace God wants to give them. I do wish that they would allow people who do not agree with them, to keep their freedoms. I do not, as an evangelist, believe in intimidating people, threatening them with hell. It would NOT draw me to anyone! I believe that we are given the opportunity to learn, & decide if we believe in God, or not. If we deny Him, He will NOT force Himself on us, nor will anyone be forced to spend eternity with Him. What drew me to Him is love,...... nothing more, & nothing less. This is what most of us relate to,(whatever our beliefs.) We should NOT preach to those who do not want to hear it. When people observe your love, peace, & joy, they often get curious. Ive had people tell me they feel peaceful when they are around me. It was NOT me; it was Gods Holy Spirit in me. Your LOVE, & compassion is what you are called as Christians, to give. We have to separate a persons who, from their do. I am taking the stand that God has asked me to take. If this offends any of you, Im sorry, but it is what it is.
