Yes, the pullout method may be free but its not very effective. Its been shown to fail 1 out of 4 times. Why? Because most often a partner does not withdraw in time or because there is pre-ejaculate which can contain sperm and cause pregnancy. If youre using withdrawal as your birth control method, reconsider and using something more effective like a condom instead. Condoms are inexpensive and are more effective in helping prevent both pregnancy and STDs.
