Yes, they have made life difficult for us. Peter Henderson, CEO Metgasco comments on Lock The Gate Alliance (Extended Interview Transcript ABC) I think it’s hard to describe Lock The Gate. It’s quite a loose group of people. You’ve got some people who are ideologically opposed to the fossil fuel industry, almost with relig- religious zeal. Ah you’ve got people who ah would prefer th-that they, that they don’t see any industrialisation in the area. They certainly have been a strong opposition to us. But in terms of how you describe them, they’re quite a loose group of different people. You’ve got the people who just love protesting, you’ve got the people who really hate the fossil fuel industry and want to see it ending, and then you’ve got a lot of people who are concerned by the misinformation that has been spread to suggest that the industry is not safe or has problems with water or health, and those people are looking for answers to be confident that the industry is safe. And then you have people who feel that it’s not right that a a gas company should be able to enter their property and drill a well. So it’s quite a loose group of people, and that’s one of the things which makes it quite a challenge to- a challenge in terms of communicating.
