Yes...we ARE hating in the CQC SERPA yet again... It is ONLY in the holster layout kit for classes to show people why NOT to buy them...and for Gods sakes, Amazon has good Safarilands with ALS for same price now for most pistols If you cant say a CQC is inferior to anything in terms of safety or design, Ive got an AWESOME Uncle Mikes Nylon Holster to trade you for your Safarliand, GCODE, OTGHEX etc etc etc To quote: Of the cases I studied pertaining to accidental discharges when using the Serpa Level 2 holster, each instance contained an element of user error. Here are several components of each incident that brought me to my conclusion: * Finger in the trigger guard during the drawing and/or reholstering process. * Holster belt plate misadjusted with regards to the width of the shooters belt. This misalignment allows the holster to “pivot” on the belt causing the muzzle of the firearm to come in contact or proximity with the shooters’ leg and/or thigh. * Use of a cheap flimsy belt that does not allow for a solid platform for which the holster to attach. * User error…poor gun handling skills and safety practices.
