Yesterday, Grandson Brett volunteered at Inland Empires fund-raiser for Special Olympics World Games! He got the surprise of his life when the Regional Manager called him up *front and center* ~ Brett was selected to be one of 10 athletes for the Final-Leg Torch Run Team for World Games 2015! He, and his teammates, will run with members of law enforcement for 17 days, through various locales in California, starting at the state Capitol and ending in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum next July 25th! He told me today (by phone) that he is still shocked...LOL! We are all so proud and happy for him!
