Yesterday I found out that my father Hank Shores had passed away after his long battle with cancer and today has been difficult for me and very emotional. I wish that we would have been so much closer and I do hope that he knew that I truly loved him....always had and always will. It makes me sad, but I am comforted to know that Hank is sitting in Heaven right now because even though he had struggles in this life, he knew his Savior was our Lord Jesus. I am so much like him it is absolutely unreal, so I can empathize so very much with everything Hank battled. I am very glad though that through all of this I have been able to spend some time with my two brothers Clark Shores and Derek Shores. That has been a wonderful thing for me and I look forward to seeing them again this weekend to visit and hopefully get to know them both even better. I look forward to going to my cousin Teris house for dinner and seeing that side of my family. I do love them all!! Just never ever forget to tell your family how much you love them because they need to hear it....you never want them to wonder. Hanks services will be this Sunday at McLewis Church of Christ.
