Yesterday I got my Christmas gift. The prosecuting assistant district attorney emailed (this is what Im down too, notice by mail), me that the trial date has once again been moved up from mid-January to late February. Even three of the five scum bags responsible for the shooting are tired of sitting in jail and want to get sentenced. We wish them all speed to get there. Meanwhile we, the parents, have waited more than three years to see justice done. People have told us from the beginning that they would help to speed things along. Patience is everything but this is maddening for us. Ive done what I could but sometimes the best is not good enough. I never get responses to my inquiries. Im no longer well off and cant pay the justice system to get on with a trial. Think thats a joke? It isnt. Tara waits for her justice and I want that too as do the other parents...
