Yesterday, I had an in-person appointment with a young woman who was beautiful, inside and out. She enjoys eating and living healthy, despite the challenges of doing that on college campus. I asked if she would rather have a package of organic strawberries or a cookie, and she said the strawberries. It was such a blessing to see a young woman be so committed to making wise choices at a time in her life when others tend to make the most unhealthy choices. Too many college kids severely damage their health during those years of living off of pizzas, junk food, sodas, and late nights. Ive seen the negative impact of those choices years later when they are trying to start a family and are suffering from severe fatigue as a result of wearing out their adrenals, or pregnancy complications as a result of those years of nutritional deficiencies. It may be one of the hardest times to eat healthy, but its also one of the most important!
