Yesterday, I had the honor of meeting Paul and Jill Tahmooressi, joining them at Ponce Inlet Community Church for their National Day of Prayer for the release of their son, U.S. Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, from a Mexican jail. Fox 35 WOFL Orlando was present and interviewed Jill after the church service, which aired last night and again this morning. After church service, Paul and Jill graciously invited and treated us to lunch at Boondocks in Port Orange. They are truly wonderful people, and getting to know their son, Andrew, on a personal level and learn more about his current plight through his parents is nothing short of an honor.
