Yesterday, I had the privilege of visiting a friend who made some - TopicsExpress

Yesterday, I had the privilege of visiting a friend who made some bad decisions and is incarcerated. Looks like will be there for long time. Not in any way condoning what happened just seeking to minister and encourage him in the Lord. He is struggling, especially with how badly this has hurt his family and the consequences of his actions. On neat side, has just read Born Again by Chuck Colson, another of his books and has asked his family to send him more. Said, Colson is real, he gets it. Amen to that! He has a real burden for his fellow inmates there. Asked if we could send him Bibles to give out. I would encourage all of us to make sure that when a friend/relative falls; dont kick them to the curb. Instead reach out in love and minister to them and their families; not forgetting to reach out those who were hurt also. Lots of hurt and pain out there folks. We need to be the salt of the earth. To hate the sin but truly love the sinner as we shine brightly with the love of Jesus.
