Yesterday, I lost my dearest friend. Today the house is empty, lonely and lacking the warmth I have known for these past twelve years. In the quiet I feel the sting of having lost a loving and loyal pet. He came to me in his sixth week and in exchange for care, shelter and guidance he was generous with his loyalty, love and continuous presence. We allow our four legged friends to occupy a dedicated part of our hearts and as an essential part of the fabric we call life we give them an eternal part. In the absence is a void only tears and memory remain. God speed Kaiser. I will never forget the times we shared.
