Yesterday I paid a personal clown hospital visit to a dearly loved friend who in her mid forties had a heart attack and stroke at the same time. It was difficult seeing her struggle to get out every word and watch her manipulate an in movable arm and leg. Tears were welling up inside of me and my wife as well. But I managed to do my routines and get her to smile. But it ceases to amaze me what the power of just seeing a Clown can do. Stares, Smiles and giggles galore and all we have to do is smile back, shake some hands and make the lay people feel like they are the stars by just acknowledging their presence. Sometimes if time permits Ill do a little schtick or crack a joke which only increases the power of Clown.
