Yesterday I sang and my daughter played the drum and rattle in - TopicsExpress

Yesterday I sang and my daughter played the drum and rattle in honor of my dear friend whose spirit is now soaring free. I smudged in his honor. He was one of the most intelligent men that I have ever known. He loved Nature, critters, the land, his family and his people. I have a personal tribe (other than my Cherokee heritage), my tribe consists of people who share the same love of the land and Nature and way of living. He was one of our elders. He was a great warrior. His was an amazing story teller and an inspiration. He will always be one of my heroes. My daughter said that his soul could fill a whole room. I know that when I walk on the land where my family lived, where the villages used to be, he will be there walking with me. It was the land that he loved and respected as much as I do. I knew that his spirit was soaring when my feather fell to the floor. It was his way of letting me know. atsawesolvsdi wigedohesdi dohiyi oganali
