Yesterday I saw an American Automobile Association van advertising AAA batteries, delivered and installed. Ill call them the next time my flashlight batteries need replacing. That was en route to my check up at Mass Eye & Ear, where I participated in a study looking for a possible connection between hemorrhaging at the base of the fingernails and glaucoma, which, if established, might provide a way of detecting glaucoma before there is any vision loss. It involved taking a 3 or 4 minute video of my left ring finger, magnified to make the capillaries visible. I hope it goes viral and I get nominated for an Academy Award. Regardless, they paid me $20, which covers parking for this and my next appointment.
