Yesterday, I spent the entire day in Concepcion with members of the Open Arms for Children (OAC) and its partners from Street Magic Iloilo and CRSAFP. OAC is an Iloilo-based NGO. We distributed relief goods to around 650 households in Brgy. Loong in mainland Concepcion. Then, we took a pumpboat ride to Brgy. Talotoan where we again distributed relief goods to around 650 households. After that, we took another ride to Sitio Posadas, Brgy. Tambaliza, our final stop, where we gave relief goods to around 250 households. It was a long and tiring day. Concepcion, especially its islands, is severely devastated by Yolanda. We planned one final push this week to distribute more relief goods to the other towns of Northern Iloilo as well. Volunteers and donations urgently needed!!! TABANGI ang ILOILO!!!
