Yesterday I was blessed to see the musical Once on Broadway... Ive been to a few shows, but this one is exceptional. Its not about the technical extravaganza like in The Ghost, or pomposity of Fantom of the Opera. The plot and the settings are super simple, with only a couple of tables and chair being moved from here to here. Music and people - thats what makes it so special! Paul Nolans voice is stuck in my head, and I cant even describe it. Theres something fatalistic in it, with a touch of despair... and hope. The video here is just like the smell of a delicious peach - overwhelming, but still cannon compare to to taste of it;) I see now why the musical won so many awards - it just touches the deepest stings of you soul. Here comes the realization that the joy of life is simpler that we expect it to be. Its about the people... and Music. Be sure to attend, as it is ending on Jan 4, 2015. And I hope to be back again to relive that wonderful story.
