Yesterday I was driving down St Joe and my husband said, remember, your in a school zone Renee....Renee your going ten over suppose to be 25 miles an hour,........O.K. RENEE, its your ticket!!!!!! after a few seconds, I said, Oh man, Im in a school zone! and I quickly brought down my speed! Jer said, did you even here a word I said???? And the truth is, I didnt. I was in very deep thought. I had just left the house of a old friend from my childhood....... We connected on Facebook, and he sold me a microwave. We first talked on the phone before I came over, and of course had a few laughs before we meant up. When he laughed for the first time, I got off the phone and told my husband, he still has the same laugh, just a little deeper!!!!! His laugh put a smile on my face. When he greeted me at the door he gave me a big hug, and introduced me to his beautiful wife and equally beautiful daughter. We chit chat for awhile, then he helped us take the microwave out to the car, and again, that wonderful laugh! I got in the car, and as I pulled away, memories of my childhood started FLOODING back. Memories of boys chasing me around the playground. Memories of teachers laughing on Monday morning in the hallway before coming into the classroom of the things they did on the weekend. Memories of hot school lunches that were fall of carbs and we loved them! I thought of the beautiful smile on our librarians face as we walked into the library, Brenda Lynch. I had memories of recesses that went on forever, I think back then we had two 20 minute recesses and one half hour for lunch, (how cool is that!) So many memories of days past. No wonder Jer couldnt get my attention And it was that wonderful laugh that brought all those memories back. The brain is truly amazing, that just a laugh could grab all those memories from that back of your mind. So thank you Cyle Cornish for making my day, and for the beautiful laugh! Oh, and I AM going to hold you to that guarantee!!!!!!!!
