Yesterday ( November 25) Would have been my Uncle Junior Kirkpatrick Birthday (74th, I think) This man was the most honest person I ever met. I dont believe I ever saw him mad. He was so unselfish, if he owned something & you wanted to use it , he didnt ask questions, he would give it up. I know many times through the years , he let people use his vehicles, & they wrecked them, he would get new ones , & let them use them again. I remember when I was little, approx. 5 or 6 or 7 yrs old, He would carve us wooden guns for a bunch of kids in the neighbor hood to play cowboys & Indians. He taught us to play basketball & baseball. He used to hit the ball & send it , Air Mail . It seemed to fly into the clouds before it started to decline to earth. He would take us to Lear North Elementary school, to play basketball. He would be about 1/2 to 3/4 court, & shoot hook shots like Kareem Abdul Jabbar, & make a lot of them. He tried to talk to me about GOD, sometimes I listen, sometimes not, but he always showed me GOD, through his actions. Uncle Junior I miss you still & love you always Happy Birthday in Heaven Earl Kirkpatrick , Jr.
