Yesterday a friend came to my house to spend some time with me. During the course of our conversation, we talked about soo many things, we joked, laughed and talked about soo many things. In our conversation, he told me how God loves me and will be willing to embrace me again in his warm and loving arms. He touched so many passages of the bible citing the love of God to me, and he preached and told me soo many stories of Jesus Christ, how he died for my sins, how God was merciful by sending his only begotten son for the redemption of mankind. The miracles Jesus did, his resurrection and even his second coming. I enjoyed the stories coz i choose not to argue with him. I allowed him have the day, he was happy that i gave him listening ears. After about four hours together, he told me he would be leaving for his house and he adviced i re-dedicate my life back to Christ our saviour. When he was about leaving, he adjourned me to give my life to Christ the author and the finisher of our faith. He prayed for me and i cant believe i was saying AMEN. When he was done, i saw him off to the nearest bus-stop. To my greatest astonishment, i realize i hated God the more and i find myself still dis-proving his existence the moment my friend entered the bus and left. Bottom line, many people go to church and pray to God to forgive them of there sins, but the moment they are out of the surrounding of the church, they cant help but go back to there old ways. This alone made me feel GOD IS DEAF AND DOES NOT ANSWER PRAYERS.
