Yesterday afternoon Hopkins County Fire Departments Station 20 (Central), Station 12 (Brinker), Station 2 (Como) and Station 7 (Pickton-Pine Forest) were dispatched to a report of a motor vehicle accident on HWY 69, South of I-30 and North of Hwy 11. Due to the severity of the accident and the impact to the local Brinker and Como Communities and out of respect for the family and the fireman on-scene of the incident that new the patient we will allow the local media to report the details. I would just like to say that all the Fire, EMS and Law Enforcement personnel that responded did an outstanding job and Hopkins County Fire Departments extend our prayers to the family.
