Yesterday afternoon we said goodbye to our beloved cat Scout. He gave us so much love and inspiration through a life well lived. He was found in a gutter at only 4 weeks old when Susanne was given the gift to be his Mom. At age 3 1/2 he decided he wouldn’t mind having two moms and invited me to come live with him, Susanne, and his brother Beau. We will remember him always running to the door to greet us, then demanding we touch him to tell him hello. And the inspiration he gave me for my Soul Provider paintings and book leaves me humbled beyond words to have known him. Susanne and I are very sad, but relieved for him, as he is free and at peace.
