Yesterday, as per plan, we served iftari at the Bagh-e-Rehmat old home in Bhatta Chowk, to about thirty to forty people exclusive of our own team, that is. And it brings a great sense of satisfaction to know that it was a huge success and pretty much everything went according to the plan. The residents of the old home there were absolutely over the moon. Their faces lit up at the sight of us. And that ultimately, is the reason why ours lit up too. It was, however, slightly depressing to see how they yearn to see their kids and family. Theyve spent their entire lives putting bread and butter on the table and have now resorted to living in an old home. Such a pity. Nevertheless, it was a brilliant heart warming day yesterday. So very proud of the team! Keep up the good work everyone!
