Yesterday evening the wifi stopped working on the Virgin wifi/modem hub. The broadband connection lights were steady, the wifi one dead. I could get a connection to the laptop with an ethernet cable, though when I tried turning the power off and on again that failed too (I probably should have closed down the laptop as well - its working now). The Virgin man in India went over and over how problems with the street cable were affecting my wifi, and I was trying to get this to make sense and it never did. It still doesnt make sense - if Im getting broadband, and Im talking to you through an ethernet cable, theres no way that problems in the street are affecting my domestic wifi, is there? Going to ring Virgin again and tell them their hub isnt working properly and their man who tried to blind me with technology isnt either.
