Yesterday on the first day of the upwards flag football season I woke up and could barely walk. The pain was from my left foot which is my good foot. I had surgery on my right ankle and sometimes it gives me trouble. I am good at dealing with pain and can work thru most things but not this time. I drugged up with aleve ... smothered my foot in icy hot and suffered thru the game. We won by the way. Sunday morning I woke up and it was doing much better. It hit me what I had done. I had some heavy sheets to machine on my router table and all day I was using the top of my foot to prop the material on and slide it on the table. It hurt at the time but thought nothing of it. The lesson learned was ask for help when you really need it ... It will save you alot of pain in the end.
