Yesterday, the company from whom I leased my dedicated web servers where I host my clients endured what is known as a Denial of Service attack. Once again, myself and thousands of other web based companies are experiencing aggressive attacks by enemies foreign and domestic. I am thankful to have partnered with ViaWest, as they take web security seriously, as do I. They averted what could have been a catastrophic event, making it seem more like just a slow down in web and email performance. Ive ranted about this before... we pay tax dollars to the US Government to protect us from enemies, foreign and domestic. When the HELL are we going to start taking care of this vital issue at home?
