Yesterday, the entire middle school went to the Kintex Building in Ilsan. Inside of the building were many different exhibits of robots that had been created and put on display. The students enjoyed looking around and watching some of the robotics move. While we were there, five of our students, Abdullah AlMasoud (7), Juel Park (8), Joshua Seo (8), Joshua Choi (7), and Umaid Syed (7), participated in a roundtable discussion with another student from the United Kingdom. They each presented a paper that they worked hard to write, and then had to defend their ideas or challenge their peers ideas. The discussion sometimes got heated, but they had fun discussing their ideas about robotic ethics. Each of the students was given a medal and a certificate for their hard work and participation.
