Yesterday two very nice women knocked on my door, they were Jehovahs witnesses. They begun to tell me about an event they were having. I told them that I was a Christian and they said, Good we both believe in God! I politely disagreed and told them that we dont serve the same God. I explained to them that Jesus Christ is the only way to the true and living God. We respectfully went back and forth about the deity of Jesus and I asked them so how are yall reconciled to God? What do yall do about sin? How do you know you have eternal life? Ultimately, they couldnt really answer those questions. I explained that no matter how many good deeds we do, we cant earn our way to God and Heaven, sin separates us from God. I explained to them that Jesus paid the ultimate penalty for sin and suffered Gods wrath on the cross, and rose from the grave. By repentance and faith in Him were justified and have eternal life. I told them how I was born again, and Im not forcing myself to obey rules and follow commands, God gave me a new heart, nature, and desires. I gave them my testimony and they left. I could have not answered my door or taken their booklet and stayed silent. There are no multiple truths, there is only ONE truth. Its so important that we TRULY know what we believe. We have to contend for the faith and gently correct those who oppose the gospel. Many people are under damnable teaching and false religions. If we truly love people and love Christ, it should compel us to spread the gospel to all!:-) #HighHeelsAndHighStandards
