Yesterday was a day of many moods in Ilvololand,..for our boys and for all of us. It began early with the announcement of the passing of Antonina Boschetto, mother of Vito and grandmother of Ignazio. It was, Im sure, a sad day for the Boschetto family. All of us conveyed our condolences via Facebook and Twitter with many messages and flowers. The funeral is today. We send our love to Ignazio and his family on this difficult day. On a happier note, it took a request from Placido Domingo to get Gianluca and Piero to accept the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Gianluca tweeted, Thats a great way to involve the entire world to help to defeat ALS! And then the video was posted. He mentioned that he was challenging Bruno Vespa and Francesco Dotti. After it was over he said, Not much water but...freezing!!!! Then it was Pieros turn as he tweeted, I accept the ice bucket challenge from Placido Domingo and MRmusic. Is coming up in a few minutes. And then the video was posted as he announced he would challenge Antonello Clirici, Michelle Hunziker, and his best friend, Gaetano. He got a bit more water than Gianluca did. All in all, it was a fun time for the guys and all done for a good cause. And early this morning I found some nice pictures posted of Ignazio playing volleyball with friends. Gianluca, Ignazio and Piero, It was a sad day and a fun day, but, as always, it was an Il Volo day. Even though you are miles apart from each other, we know your minds and hearts were together, helping each other through whatever the day brought. Thats why we say every day, WE LOVE YOU!! eleven
