Yesterday was a very special day for our family. Abbey & Brett officially became the Clifton Family. Compared to what was originally planned, it was to be a very small ceremony. We were disappointed that we were having to scale way back because Abbey wasnt up to an overwhelming event, her dad and I kept reminding them & ourselves that ITS NOT ABOUT THE EVENT, its about THE PROMISE!! The main thing that I want to make mention of is that, although scaled way back, it was one of the most beautiful, lovely wedding! One of the reasons it was so elegant & lovely was because our family rallied around us (as usual) and made it all Abbey ever dreamed of! I cannot use enough pretty words to love on them enough and describe their wonderfulness for all that they did yesterday to make it so very elegant & perfect! I noticed everything that every one if you did including, serving as caterers and photographer, opening your home to the wedding party, helping the beautiful bride get ready, officiating a beautiful & very personal ceremony, making flower arrangements, decorating (and when I say decorating, I actually mean transforming!), setting up tables & chairs, CLEANING, and 1,000 other things, it seems!!! There are even those that provided platters & decoration even though they didnt come because of the scaling back. I love you all, and because you loved on my baby, you loved on me!
