Yesterday was another visit to Hershey for labs and visit with Dr. Claxton. Liver functions need to continue to be brought into order, but certainly are better that two months ago. Im feeling good and Dr. says hed like me to allow my new immune system to acclimate to me for another 7-8 months before trying to wean me off the anti-rejection drug. Im ready to hear him, but my heart wants to rebel. Oh well, I will rejoice that this August Im working, enjoying family and friends, and experiencing life! I visited Hope Lodge while at Hershey and the day hospital, and remembered again how blessed Im am that Im not facing what the past two years held. Again I ask You Lord for your nearness and presence with those walking through hard experiences and those who love them- especially those who have said Good-bye to their loves ones. Comfort and bring Hope, LORD. Ken and I spent last week in Tioga county working on our cabin with extended family- something we had planned the previous two years, but instead were at Hershey. We had a wonderful time and so enjoyed the beauty and quiet of Northern Pa. So much to be thankful for- I will rejoice. i will not complain. And Lord you guide our journey! Blessed be Your Name.
