Yesterday we celebrated our biggest successes from 2014 over lunch. No one mentioned their rank or their income. My two greatest success so far this year had me crying (like the ugly cry) two minutes in, then Kristina and Becky and half the room were crying. 1) I was able to take a step back and change the way I led my team, which included an apology and several changes to the way I operated. And now Ive seen tremendous growth and an increase in self confidence. 2) I was able to spend the first summer since I became a Mother in 1999 with my children and became a Mom. I connected with my children. I bonded with them. I finally felt like a Mom and got to enjoy every second and felt like it saved our relationship because I finally felt like I had my eyes open for the first time in my life (insert funny asian joke here!) Nancys story touched my heart too because I too can relate and give my testimony to how I think NOW compared to 3 years ago.
