Yesterday, we married. The never ending pouring rain stopped by 12 - TopicsExpress

Yesterday, we married. The never ending pouring rain stopped by 12 pm and left the sun shine bright all day until late evening. It was unexpected, particularly to me who was looking at the weather report each hour all week long and seeing that it kept announcing thunderstorms despite all my wishes and dreams, and was crying to Sheriff about how much our wedding cant be under the rain. It wasnt the kind of wedding you plan since one or two years or spend thousands in - and never we would have liked that. We always knew we wanted to marry and were engaged since three years, yet we started preparing for our love celebration ceremony a couple of weeks ago. Everything was very intimate, natural and homemade, in our garden under an homemade arch made from an old ladder, with my close family and our currently in France closest friends. We made all the food, baked a tall flowery cake, hunted the best secondhand plates and cutlery, sown tablecloths to picnic and dine on, picked wild flowers and berries over the fields to cover the arch and make me the prettiest bouquet. My friends braided my hair, tapped lipstick on my lips and laced my dress, prepared the floral decorations as we were cooking, then hugged us and married us. The super moon glowed above all of us as we said Oui je le veux and exchanged rings. Love. It was simply, naturally, love. Sheriff Julie de Waroquier Justine Jugnet Photographe Elodie Gioia
