Yesterday, we spent the day in Bentonville. We visited Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. Thank you Danny Thomas for the recommendation. It was amazing. The European specialty exhibit was phenomenal. It was a treat to the senses just being in the same room with an authentic Picasso. Some of the exhibits were so visually striking, I find myself still thinking about them this morning. The human condition has a way of creating a lasting impression, and that gives me great joy. We all come from such a diverse background, and when I have a chance to explore culture or tradition from someone with a dissimilar paradigm, I just drink it in. There are kindred spirits among us today that share that special creative bond with souls long passed, that will keep people engaged for centuries. Its a good time to be human. The second highlight of my day was eating at an amazing Italian restaurant. The restaurant: Tavola Trattoria in Bentonville. From the first sip of the Ozark cream stout beer from the draft that tantalized the taste buds, to the fried olives, goat cheese, artichoke hearts, authentic Italian bread with a delectable Mediterranean concoction, and perfectly composed Caesar salad, my taste buds were on fire with complex flavors that left me in awe. This was all before the main meal, which topped off my eager appetite perfectly. It is a meal that I wont soon forget and will likely eat again soon. It currently resides at the very top of my recommendation list. It is a must visit restaurant. Special thanks to Raw Unun for joining our family yesterday. It was a real treat having you along.
