Yesterday went south fast. Doin a remodeling project is always a challenge ..Saturday I set the main support post for a load wall on what I thought was a poured concrete floor with footer.. Sunday I woke up to find the floor broke from the weight .. WTH!!! After further investigation I found the bob villa POS that built this place poured 1 of cement over a dead space to fill a void!! .. needless to say I had to bring in and set up all the rigging.. rejack the house back up to take the weight back off.. rip up the kitchen floor again... replace some floor supports.. form, mix and pour a new post base.. 18x24 square and 20 inches thick should take care of the problem!! Old houses and the douche nozzles that slapped this shit up!! Was a long 16 hour day finished at 130 this morning ..
