Yesterday, while being in the office cab, heard two guys - TopicsExpress

Yesterday, while being in the office cab, heard two guys discussing something about the Indian education system. One of thems brother was studying Bsc Economics in the UK and they were discussing how bad that it is still BA Economics in India. They were basically agreeing with each other on how Indias educational system is light years behind as it does not even recogonise economics as a science. I, immediately thought about the great Chanakya. What did he wrote? He wrote Arttha Sasthram. Not Arttha Kala. So, the fact that economics is more of a science than an art is not new to us, Indians. It was considered that way here even before the concept of an university originated in the west. It is another matter that the modern Indian universities are lagging behind.
